Began research into ceramic PTC as manager of the electronic division of NICHIAS Corporation

1998 Developed and commercialized PTC with the lowest specific resistance in the world using the liquid method It was later adopted as a component of automobile door mirrors
1999

Concurrently served as Manager of the New Business Development Department at Head Office and Manager of the Electronic Component Office at Hamamatsu Research Laboratory
Developed PTC products for carburetors, which was adopted by a motorcycle parts maker

August 2006

Retired from NICHIAS Corporation
Established the PTC development maker, Maximum Technology Ltd. and became president

Selected our development of a low-resistance, lead-free, thick film PTC thermistor, as a project to promote the creation of venture business established by peoples of universities and large-scale companies, which is conducted by Kanagawa.

Japan Science and Technology Agency selects our research project, the development of a thick film PTC thermistor based on nano-sized particles, for the FY2009 Science and Technology Incubation Program in Advanced Regions (rapid response to regional needs).

November 2009

Subsidy received from NEWTEC for our research project, the development of PTC materials for motor activation for power saving.

June 2011

A fiscal 2011 subsidy to support the development of new technologies and products by small and medium enterprises is received from Kanagawa Prefecture for "The development of PTC thermistors for surface mounting".
